Experience

Courtenay Hall is an associate in the firm’s Family Law practice group. She is part of Taylor Murdoch’s Family Law team.

Courtenay’s practice is focused primarily on Family Law cases. She is licensed to practice law in Oregon.

Courtenay has a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law as well as a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Corban University. She has a BA from Portland State University in Social Sciences.

Prior to law school, Courtenay practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in a variety of clinical settings. She became an attorney to advocate for individuals going through difficult life circumstances and to hold abusers accountable. Before transitioning to Family Law, she worked at the District Attorney’s offices in Marion and Multnomah counties and was a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for Honorable Andrew Hallman.

In her free time, Courtenay enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs and cat.
