Lake Oswego, OR – Buckley Law P.C., a full-service Oregon law firm, is pleased to announce that attorneys Layla Kailani McLean and Taylor Murdoch were elected by the Board of Directors as new Equity Shareholders effective January 1, 2025.
Layla has been with the firm since 2017 and was elected a Shareholder in January 2021. Layla is head of the Estate Planning Group and focuses on estate planning and administration for taxable and non-taxable estates, business succession planning, gift tax planning, charitable planning, special needs planning, guardianships, conservatorships, business law, and real estate transactions. She is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Academy of Special Needs Planners and is a board member for Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp and Civics Learning Project. Layla received her Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law and her B.S. from Portland State University.
Taylor has been with the firm since 2014 and was elected a Shareholder in January 2019. Taylor leads a family law team that assists clients through complex family law and civil litigation matters, including divorce, high-conflict custody disputes, modification of support, move-away cases, and restraining and protective orders. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and is active in the Kruse Way Rotary Club and a volunteer for Boy Scouts of America and the Lake Oswego Public Schools Art Literacy Program. Taylor received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon and his B.A. from Portland State University.
